[Since 1994, the world witnesses the horrifying reality : the Tutsi minority (14%) ethnic domination, the Tutsi minority ethnic rule, tyranny and corruption in Rwanda. The current government has been characterized by the total impunity of RPF criminals, the Tutsi economic monopoly, the Tutsi militaristic domination with an iron hand, and the brutal suppression of the rights of the majority of the Rwandan people (85% are Hutus), mass-arrests and mass-murder by the RPF criminal organization.

HILVERSUM (RNW) – De Nederlandse ambassadeur in Rwanda Frans Makken heeft de Rwandese oppositieleider Victoire Ingabire (United Democratic Forces) opgezocht in de gevangenis. Dat gebeurde afgelopen vrijdag, 1 april. Makken begeleidde een Nederlandse delegatie van 10 personen van de stichting Eenheid is Kracht.
Tijdens het bezoek, dat 30 minuten duurde, is gesproken over de omstandigheden waaronder Ingabire gevangen zit, over haar juridische procedure en over de Nederlandse steun aan Rwanda. Ingabire klaagde over het gebrek aan onafhankelijkheid van justitie, over de permanente bemoeizucht van de Rwandese overheid en de onmogelijkheid van een eerlijk proces.
Na de bijeenkomst heeft de Nederlandse ambassade contact opgenomen met de Rwandese minister van Justitie, Tharcisse Karugarama, om technische details van de zaak te bespreken. Volgens de ambassade is Ingabire, die 16 jaar in Nederland heeft gewoond, in goede gezondheid.
De 43-jarige Victoire Ingabire is vorig jaar na terugkeer naar haar vaderland opgepakt en zit vast in een gevangenis van Kigali. Ze wacht op haar proces. De politica wordt onder meer beschuldigd van het samenspannen met een terroristische groepering en het ontkennen van de Rwandese genocide van 1994.
De Nederlandse overheid steunt Justitie in Rwanda met 4,8 miljoen euro in 2011.

L’ambassadeur des Pays-Bas au Rwanda Frans Makken a rendu visite, le 1er avril, à Victorie Ingabire, leader du parti de l’opposition rwandaise FDU (Forces démocratiques unifiées) et actuellement en prison. Makken était en compagnie d’une délégation néerlandaise de dix personnes.
Pendant la visite, qui a duré 30 minutes, la délégation a discuté des circonstances de l’emprisonnement de Victoire Ingabire, de sa situation procédure juridique et de l’aide néerlandaise au développement accordée au Rwanda. De son côté, Victoire Ingabire a déploré l’absence d’une justice indépendante, l‘indiscrétion de l’administration rwandaise et l’impossibilité d’un procès juste.
Après l’entrevue, l’ambassade néerlandaise a contacté le ministre rwandais de la Justice Tharcisse Karugarama pour parler des détails techniques du cas d’Ingabire. D’après l’ambassade, la politicienne, qui a vécu aux Pays-Bas pendant 16 ans, est en bonne santé.
Victoire Ingabire est actuellement détenue à Kigali en attente de son procès. La justice rwandaise l’accuse d’activités terroristes et est à la recherche de preuves. Ingabire est retournée au Rwanda en janvier 2010 pour participer à la présidentielle. Elle est incarcérée depuis octobre dernier.
