Women are vulnerable to attack when they leave the camp or travel to neighboring villages in search of wood or food. But women are also attacked inside the camp itself. “Violence is omnipresent,” says MSF psychologist Marie Jacob. “It is violence based on power, the law of the strongest, the law of a person with a weapon.”

The Hutu woman has been ignored for more than 20 years. They are raped,…they don’ go to school. they are forced to work in coffee ane thee plantations without being paid. Their daily lives are filled with reactions and emotions to the hard labor they have to endure. Hopefully our message will fulfill or extend the knowledge of Hutu women in slavery into your intelligent minds.
