[Since 1994, the world witnesses the horrifying Tutsi minority (14%) ethnic domination, the Tutsi minority ethnic rule, tyrany and corruption in Rwanda. The current government has been characterized by the total impunity of RPF criminals, the Tutsi economic monopoly, the Tutsi militaristic domination, and the brutal suppression of the rights of the majority of the Rwandan people (85% are Hutus), by the RPF criminal organization.]
The Permanent Consultative Council of Opposition Parties in Rwanda, which brings together the United Democratic Forces–Inkingi, Democratic Green Party of Rwanda and Le Parti Social-IMBERAKURI has learned with shock and horror about grenade attacks that occurred last night, 19th Feb 2010, almost simultaneously in three different localities of Kigali.
At the moment, there are conflicting reports about the number of dead and injured. However a major issue at hand is the protection of the lives of innocent and defenceless citizens who are at serious risk.
These cowardly and wicked acts are meant to instill fear in the population at a crucial time when we are heading for the Presidential elections in a few months.
We categorically condemn these barbaric acts in the strongest terms possible and call upon the Rwandan Government, as we have done in recent past to:
1. Investigate and bring to book the perpetrators of these acts.
2. Guarantee the security of all people and their property.
3. Ensure a fair hearing for the suspects when they are apprehended.
