[Since 1994, the world witnesses the horrifying Tutsi minority (14%) ethnic domination, the Tutsi minority ethnic rule, tyranny and corruption in Rwanda. The current government has been characterized by the total impunity of RPF criminals, the Tutsi economic monopoly, the Tutsi militaristic domination with an iron hand, and the brutal suppression of the rights of the majority of the Rwandan people (85% are Hutus), mass-arrests and mass-murder by the RPF criminal organization. So long as justice and accountability for past crimes are ignored and delayed, peace and stability will remain illusive and impossible in Rwanda=>ASIF]
Willy, Muhoozi, What is going on in the land of a thousand hills? I saw Patrick Karegeya and Mrs Nyamwasa on TV blaming Kigali for this. Could it be just the usual South African criminal? Billie
A while ago, Kagame nearly killed Kayumba Nyamwasa. Kayumba is said to be getting better.
Gen. Kayumba Nyamwasa, the former chief of staff of the Rwandan army, has been shot in Johannesburg, South Africa where he lives in exile.
The general, a critic of President Paul Kagame’s leadership, who fled Kigali in late February, was reportedly shot in the stomach by an unidentified man. The assailant escaped using a waiting car.
South African authorities are already investigating the incident but it’s not yet clear who is behind the attack.
Gen. Nyamwasa is now undergoing surgery at Morningside Clinic
His wife said the couple had been returning from shopping when a gunman opened fire on the car.
She said it was an assassination attempt as there had been no demand for money or goods.

Interview with Mrs. Rosette Nyamwasa on the Assassination Attempt on her Husband, Gen. Kayumba Nyamwasa. Find out on Radio here below :
Lt. General Kayumba Nyamwasa’s wife, Rosette, interviewed Saturday at a hospital in Johannesburg, said she and her husband were returning from shopping to the upscale gated community where they live in northern Johannesburg when a lone gunman fired on him. She said her husband was shot in the stomach and doctors tell her he will make a full recovery. The gunman escaped.
In Rwanda, Rwandan Foreign Affairs Minister Louise Mushikiwabo said her government was unaware of the shooting.
“He must be behind it,” she said. “He wants us dead.”
The Rwandan government has accused Nyamwasa of trying to destabilize Rwanda – while he was in the country, and while he was in India, where he recently served as Rwanda’s ambassador.
South African police said earlier this year they had not arrested Nyamwasa because they do not have an extradition treaty with Rwanda.
