” Let’s remember ALL victims”, Ingabire victoire at Gisozi Memorial site.
Juvenal Habyarimana of Rwanda and Burundi’s Cyprian Ntayamira were among 10 people on the aircraft which some reports say was brought down by rocket fire.
“Then there is the fact that Kagame’s forces went into action within an hour of the shoot-down and that, within 100 days, succeeded in capturing state power in Rwanda. The alleged Hutu Power conspirators seem to have been in complete disarray, while Kagame’s forces worked with great efficiency, which again points to a Kagame-RPF conspiracy to seize state power, rather than a Hutu conspiracy to eliminate the country’s minority Tutsi.
We also stress the fact that the United States voted to scale down UN peacekeeping forces in Rwanda, and that this was what Kagame wanted, but the remnant of the Hutu government opposed. Again, this is consistent with the view that Kagame’s RPF was doing the main killing, and didn’t want anybody to interfere with it. Why would Kagame and his U.S. ally oppose “humanitarian intervention” in Rwanda, unless events were working out in favor of the RPF’s goal of seizing the Rwandan state? Jones not only fails to deal with these critical questions. He doesn’t even raise them.

Jones claims that Kagame and the RPF did not align with the Tutsi of Rwanda, the invading RPF allegedly having “no connection to, and apparently no particular sympathy for, the Tutsi civilian population of Rwanda.” Jones fails to mention the long historic class division and warfare between Tutsi and Hutu, and the creation of many hundreds of thousands of Hutu refugees after the RPF invasion of Rwanda in October 1990, the Tutsi-organized assassination of the Hutu president Melchior Ndadaye of neighboring Burundi in October 1993, and the ensuing large-scale bloodbaths that followed.
He fails to mention the internal State Department memorandum of September 1994 which we cite that claims that the “[RPF] and Tutsi civilian surrogates [were killing] 10,000 or more Hutu civilians per month, with the [RPF] accounting for 95% of the killing,” and that the memorandum “speculated that the purpose of the killing was a campaign of ethnic cleansing intended to clear certain areas in the south of Rwanda for Tutsi habitation.”
Bloody feuding between the majority Hutu tribe and the minority Tutsis has plagued both tiny central African states for centuries.
More than 3 millions Rwandans lost their lives since the beginning of Kagame’s wars.
Shockingly, it is it is estimated that not only Tutsis lost their lives but Hutus have lost more and the genocide goes ahead if nothing is done to before the mastermind’s term is out. So on ‘April 6, Remembrance Day’, remember not only the people who have died in 1994, but the other preventable Kagame’s massmurder that will happen before the end of the 2017. And then ask yourself, what can I do to make sure that no more Rwandans are grieving for their loved ones during this period.”
So that we can avoid having further victims, and a population of 8 million Hutus can be preserved!
We are a forward- looking nation of hope, but as much as we want to be a forward-looking people, April 6 each year, African SurViVors International, urges all Rwandans to look back and reflect on the sacrifice of men and women who gave their life for the freedom of Rwandan people (Hutu-Tutsi-Twa) and great nation.
Those who support the criminal Kagame should be strongly condemned so that they do not repeat it again. Those who shame you by their attempts to legalize Paul Kagame and the RPF criminals’ crimes should be treated as criminals too. For this I assume what I am saying. Please go through my blog and you will understand that you’re doings are to be condemned.
Let us remember that each one of the victims was an individual with a sense of prosperity and a dream of living a fulfilled life, but chose to make great sacrifice so that all Rwandans from all ethnic groups can live with freedom and democracy.
We usually condemn donor nations, Netherlands, Great Britain and United States for financing the bloody dictatorship and terrorist state in Rwanda but we ourselves are party to financing the RPF dictatorship by using their criminal organizations such us Ibuka, African rights, AVEGA, Local difense forces, MP, DMI and CID etc and other formal channels when transferring funds to our relatives and friends in Rwanda. The Rwandan Diaspora transfers more than $8 billion annually to Rwanda through both formal and informal channels such as banks and money transfer institutions, according to the National Central Bank of Rwanda in his last statement on the Rwandan Diaspora’s contribution to buid up Kagame’s autocratic regime.
The lack of criticism on RPF mass-slaughter has led to more deaths as the then major Paul Kagame had a green card to operate and slaughter the prejudiced Hutu out of camera.
Initially, the media imposed the version that the Rwandan Genocide was planned and carried out only by Hutus. It may be different from the actual ethnic group to which the individual himself identifies and ethnic group in which the individual is classified by the holder of power). But against all odds, after spending more than a billion dollars (U.S.) and employing the intelligence services of the United States, England, Canada, Belgium and Israel, the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR), has yet to find any physical evidence for their thesis of a central planning of the genocide. This result was quite predictable from the outset. In fact, intelligence gathering was and still is Paul Kagame’s best strength. His agents had infiltrated all spheres of Rwandan society even before October 1990. So, if evidence of planning the Rwandan Genocide by Hutus ever existed, Kagame would have made it available to the ICTR immediately and thus would have definitively silenced skeptics.

René Lemarchand uses the phrase “politically correct interpretation of the genocide” to refer to what we call the standard model of the “Rwandan Genocide,” which the majority of historians defend even in the face of massive evidence to the contrary. Among the relevant facts that this “politically correct interpretation” downplays or suppresses are the overwhelming significance of the October 1, 1990 invasion of Rwanda by the RPF under U.S. and Ugandan sponsorship, a war of aggression (not a civil war) the immediate goal of which was the ouster of the Habyarimana-Hutu majority government and the capture of state power by this foreign proxy; the RPF’s responsibility for the assassination of Habyarimana, the “triggering event” of the April-July 1994 bloodshed, and the evidence (which all too few scholars are willing to examine) that it was in fact the actions of the RPF from this moment onward that drove the carnage, with the RPF’s longer-term goal of deepening and expanding its own (and U.S.) influence in Central Africa. In the real world, the “Rwandan Genocide” (i.e., the deaths of perhaps one million Rwandans from April through July, 1994) occurred within this historical context — as have the far greater bloodbaths that Kagame’s and Museveni’s national armies, proxies, “elite networks,” and collaborators unleashed against the DRC since 1994 in an effort to capture its natural resources, with uninterrupted U.S. support through the present day.
There is no doubt that Lemarchand’s warning makes a sound critical point about the dominant historiography on Rwanda — a great deal of fear haunts the halls of “Genocide Studies.” The devastation in these tragic Central African theaters of conflict has been greatly facilitated by the political triumph of the “correct interpretation,” and the rejection of the kind of “revisionism” and “denial” that would call the Western-supported aggressions and the rolling genocides of Paul Kagame and Yoweri Museveni by their proper names.

African SurViVors International (ASI) is an international nonpartisan charity organization devoted to defending human rights. It’s an organization working to promote democracy and national reconciliation, inside countries of the African Great lakes Region.
ASI centers its work on the twin concepts of freedom of self-determination and freedom from tyranny. These ideals include the belief that all human beings have the rights to speak freely, to associate with those of like mind, and to leave and enter their countries. Individuals in a free society must be accorded equal treatment and due process under law, and must have the opportunity to participate in the governments of their countries;
ASI’s ideals likewise find expression in the conviction that all human beings have the right to be free from arbitrary detainment or exile and from interference and coercion in matters of conscience. ASI does not support nor condone violence.
